BTMarine was started by Billy Thomson in 2005.
Having spent time at College and University studying communications electronics, his first job in the industry was with a waterside dealer in Falmouth, working mainly on fishing and comercial vessels. Progressing on to become a director of the company for a few years, he then left and started work for a Southampton based major manufacturer (Simrad) in the industry. In 2005 Billy decided to make the break and form his own company. Since then he has continued to to expand on his knowledge and experience, as well as successfully passing industry examinations such as BMET and AMEI(online), and regularly attends manufacturer's service update courses throughout the year.
We're based in Falmouth Marina, predominately covering Falmouth and Mylor areas on the Carrick Roads, we also have a mobile workshop and can travel to any area as needed.
